Don't Call It A Comeback, Sierra Games' Been Here For Years (and now on Steam)

My first encounter with Sierra games, was at a family party. As a kid, when I saw these iced mountains, I knew I was about to have a good time. I snuck away and booted up my uncle's pc along with my cousins. We dug around his floppy disks, behind Prince of Persia, and Commander Keen we found one we hadn't seen before. It was called: Police Quest. This was totally different than all the other games we played before. Being kids from the nineties we were familiar with joypads, this was different. I could move my character and type in commands for him to do. To this day I still hold fond memories of that family get together where we snuck up to the attic, to rummage through our uncle's floppy disks.Unfortunately the future wasn't to bright beyond those icy mountains for Sierra. They had some major lay-offs and reorganisation going on in the 1999. Do not fret, they are still here, couple of years ago they blew fresh air in King's Quest. As of today a big chunk of Sierra classics is available in the Steam store.Check out this list:Police Quest™ CollectionGabriel Knight: Sins of the FathersGabriel Knight 2: The Beast WithinGabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the DamnedArcanum - Of Steamworks & Magick ObscuraQuest for Glory CollectionPhantasmagoriaPhantasmagoria 2Caesar 3Caesar 4
